Abstract

• In September 2024, there was year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Lebak Regency of

2.24 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 105.97.

• Inflation y-on-y occurred due to an increase in prices indicated by an increase in

most expenditure group indices, namely: food, beverages

and tobacco group by 3.40 percent; clothing and footwear group by 0.67

percent; housing, water, electricity, and household fuel group by

0.46 percent; household equipment, equipment and routine maintenance group by

1.17 percent; health group by

0.27 percent; transportation group by

0.13 percent; information, communication, and financial services group by -0.47 percent; recreation, sports, and culture group by

5.77 percent; education group by 2.67 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group of 1.99 percent; and personal care and other services group of 6.24 percent.

• The month-to-month (m-to-m) deflation rate was 0.08 percent and the year-to-date (y-to-d) inflation rate of Lebak Regency in September 2024 was 0.31 percent.
