Development of Consumer Price Index of Lebak Regency December 2024

In December 2024, Lebak Regency experienced year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation of 1.20 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 106.91. This inflation was caused by price increases in most expenditure groups, especially the recreation, sports, and culture group (5.77%), personal care and other services (4.48%), and education (2.67%). Other increases occurred in the food, beverage and tobacco group (1.81%), health (1.61%), and food and beverage/restaurant provision (1.68%). Meanwhile, several groups experienced deflation, such as household equipment and maintenance (-2.8%), transportation (-0.45%), and information and communication (-1.00%). The month-to-month (m-to-m) inflation rate was recorded at 0.88 percent, and the year-to-date (y-to-d) inflation rate until December 2024 was also 1.20 percent.
