Development of the Lebak Regency Consumer Price Index in January 2024

Abstract

In January 2024, year on year (y-on-y) inflation in Lebak Regency amounted to 4.14 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 105.45.
The y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by the increase in all expenditure group indices, namely: food, beverage and tobacco group by 7.76 percent; and tobacco group by 7.76 percent; clothing and footwear group by 2.02 percent; housing, water, electricity, and household fuel group by 0.45 percent; group of supplies, equipment and routine maintenance of households by 1.04 percent; group of housing, water, electricity, and household fuel by group by 1.04 percent; health group by 0.97 percent; transportation group by 0.24 percent; household supplies, equipment and routine maintenance group by transportation group by 0.24 percent; information, communication, and financial services group by financial services group by -0.2 percent; recreation, sports and culture group by 1.93 percent; education group by 0 percent; food and beverage/restaurant supply group by food and beverages/restaurants by 4.53 percent; and personal care and other services by 3.51 percent personal care and other services by 3.51 percent.
Month to month (m-to-m) deflation rate and year to date (y-to-d) deflation rate Lebak Regency in January 2024 amounted to 0.18 percent respectively.
