Abstract

Total labor force based on the National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) in February 2024 was 6.05 million people, representing a decrease of 53.63 thousand people compared to February 2023. Labor Force Participation Rate (TPAK) decreases by 1.00 percentage points from February 2023.
The number of employed people was 5.63 million people, an increase of 8.03 thousand people from February 2023. The type of industry that have the largest increase are Education amounted to 78.93 thousand people.
A total of 2.83 million people (50.27 percent) worked in formal activities, a decrease by 3.27 percentage points compared to February 2023.
The percentage of underemployed rose by 3.23 percentage points, meanwhile the percentage of part-time workers fell by 0.30 percentage points compared to February 2023.
The Unemployment Rate (TPT) for February 2024 was 7.02 percent, a decrease by 0.95 percentage points compared to February 2023.
