Abstract

A.      Export Development

  • Banten's export value in November 2023 increased 2.57 percent compared to the previous month, namely from US$1.03 billion to US$1.05 billion.
  • Non-oil and gas exports in November 2023 increased by 3.09 percent to US$1.04 billion compared to the previous month.
  • The largest non-oil and gas export value in November 2023 came from the footwear goods category (HS 64), reaching US$195.81 million.
  • The largest non-oil and gas export destination country in November 2023 is China with an export value of US$148.25 million.
  • Non-oil and gas exports in November 2023 will experience an increase in the processing industry sector, agricultural sector, mining and other sectors.
  • Banten's export value in November 2023 was highest through Tanjung Priok Port, reaching US$883.54 million.

B.      Import Development

  • Banten's import value in November 2023 fell 5.35 percent compared to the previous month, namely from US$3.15 billion to US$2.98 billion.
  • Oil and gas imports in November 2023 fell 15.45 percent from US$594.98 million in the previous month to US$503.04 million. Likewise, for non-oil and gas commodities, there was a decrease in the value of imports by 3.01 percent to US$2.48 billion compared to the previous month.
  • The largest non-oil and gas import value in November 2023 came from electrical machinery/equipment (HS 85) which reached US$632.74 million.
  • The largest supplier of non-oil and gas imported goods in November 2023 is China with an import value of US$515.86 million.
  • The value of imports by goods use class in November 2023 compared to the previous month experienced a decrease in the value of raw/auxiliary materials by US$201.67 million (9.48 percent). Meanwhile, consumer goods and capital goods increased respectively by US$7.10 million (3.13 percent) and US$25.73 million (3.22 percent).
