BPS Lebak Regency Holds Ceremony to Commemorate the 117th National Awakening Day in 2025

Lebak, May 20, 2025 — In order to commemorate the 117th National Awakening Day (Harkitnas), BPS Lebak Regency held a flag ceremony in the yard of the BPS Lebak Regency office. The ceremony, which was held on Tuesday morning, was attended by all employees with full solemnity and a spirit of nationalism.

The theme of this year's Harkitnas is "Rise Together to Create a Strong Indonesia". The mandate of the Minister of Communication and Digital of the Republic of Indonesia, which was read out in the ceremony, emphasized the importance of the spirit of awakening that does not stop at historical commemoration, but is realized in real steps to respond to the challenges of the times.

In his remarks, the Minister highlighted the various challenges currently facing the nation, ranging from technological disruption to the global crisis, and emphasized that Indonesia must appear as a nation that is adaptive, independent, and continues to uphold social justice. The government continues to encourage development that is not only oriented towards economic growth, but also the welfare of the people, including through programs such as free nutritious meals, digital health services, and digital talent training.
