Sectoral Statistics Development Supports One Data Indonesia

Lebak, May 15, 2025 — The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Lebak Regency held a Sectoral Statistics Development activity which took place in the BPS Lebak Regency meeting room. This activity aims to strengthen synergy between regional government agencies in supporting the One Data Indonesia program.

This event was attended by representatives from the Cooperatives and UMKM Office, Education Office, Baperrida Lebak Regency, and the Communication, Informatics, Statistics and Cryptography Office (DiskominfoSP).

In this development, BPS provided technical direction regarding the management of sectoral data that meets the principles of One Data Indonesia, namely data that is accurate, up-to-date, integrated, and accountable. The importance of the role of data guardians and data producers in ensuring data quality for better planning and public policy making was also emphasized.

This activity is expected to be a concrete initial step in building a quality and integrated regional data ecosystem.
