National Labor Force Survey Data Collection (Sakernas) August 2024

BPS Lebak Regency again carried out Sakernas activities in August 2024 with 76 (seventy-six) selected Census Blocks.

The National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) is a survey organized by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) specifically designed to collect employment data. Sakernas is conducted on a semesterly basis, namely Semester I in February and Semester II in August. To date, Sakernas has undergone various changes in terms of implementation time, estimation level, coverage, and methodology.

In general, the objective of the Sakernas August 2024 data collection is to provide continuous basic labor data. Specifically, Sakernas August 2024 aims to obtain representative estimates of the working population, unemployment, and other labor indicators and their development at the national, provincial, and district/municipal levels.
